SpanishNOW is a PROMISE. First, you have me, an experienced language educator with a strong background in cognitive linguistics since 2004, I possess profound expertise in curriculum development, and have thoughtfully cultivated and developed the program’s learning materials.
Second, instruction is structured and customized to each student’s unique learning style and abilities. The program emphasizes conversational immersion, resulting in confident, daily Spanish conversational skills after just 20 hours of instruction.

Founded in Granada, Nicaragua in 2004, SpanishNOW has been recognized as the best Spanish school by Lonely Planet Travel books for three consecutive years. We have also been privately commissioned to teach Spanish in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Costa Rica, and Istanbul.
Our program goes beyond surface-level communication to facilitate fluent, native-like conversation. By getting you to speak in Spanish right away, you will quickly gain the confidence you need to put it to immediate use and be inspired to keep learning. In other words, you will not only be able to speak and understand Spanish, but you will also be able to think in Spanish to carry on native conversations in-depth.
More than a Spanish school, At SpanishNOW, we prioritize convenience and flexibility while ensuring that you don’t sacrifice your leisure time. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to learn in a public setting, making it easier to communicate in social and public situations.
Spanish classes can be taken either from the comfort of your own home computer, or in-person at the local Bridgehead on Beechwood Ave in Ottawa.
You can take a no-strings-attached 45 min tryout Spanish class for only $50 (regular lesson price is $60/class). After the initial tryout class, you are required to commit to a 10 lesson package priced at $375 or $500 which include, 2 – 45 minute lessons, once a week (twice a week can be arranged). All learning materials provided!
With over 19 years of experience as a Spanish teacher, I have found that one-on-one or two-on-one classes are the most effective way to go from zero Spanish to conversational fluency in the shortest amount of time. The maximum individual group size at any given time, is two students for the two-on-one package, provided both students are friends or have the same language proficiency level.
